Asian tyrannosaurid from the Maastrichtian age. *T. bataar* fossils, including complete skulls, found in Mongolia's Nemegt Formation. A bipedal predator, 33 ft long, with tiny arms and a unique jaw locking mechanism, it lived in humid floodplains.
