Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WikiTCG, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

WikiTCG is a digital trading card game where users open packs of cards generated from Wikipedia articles. The service includes free and paid digital card packs.

Accounts

You may need to sign in with a Google account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Purchases and Refunds

  • Paid packs are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase.
  • Prices are listed in USD and may change without notice.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Refund Policy

Because digital card packs are randomized and delivered instantly upon purchase, refunds are generally not available once packs have been opened.

EU Consumer Rights

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). However, by proceeding with a purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered. If you have purchased packs but have not yet opened them, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us.

Randomized Content Disclosure

Card packs contain randomized digital cards. The contents of each pack are determined randomly based on published drop rates. You can view current drop rates on the store page. Each pack contains 5 cards with at least one Rare or higher card guaranteed. The specific cards you receive cannot be chosen or predicted in advance.

Please purchase responsibly. Randomized packs are not available to users under the age of 18 in jurisdictions where such purchases are restricted.

Digital Cards

  • Cards are digital items with no inherent monetary value.
  • Cards cannot be traded, sold, or transferred to other users at this time.
  • We reserve the right to modify card attributes, rarities, or availability.

Content and Licensing

Card text is derived from Wikipedia articles available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 License. As derivative works, card text is likewise available under CC-BY-SA 4.0.

Card images are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their respective free licenses. Only images with licenses compatible with commercial use are included. Per-image attribution is available on the Attributions page.

You are free to share and adapt the text content of cards under the same CC-BY-SA 4.0 terms. The digital card format, game mechanics, and visual design are proprietary to WikiTCG.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Do not use automated tools to interact with the service in an unauthorized manner.
  • Do not resell or commercially exploit the service or its content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

WikiTCG is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WikiTCG and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
