Tyrannosaurid from the Late Cretaceous (76.5-75 MYA) of Alberta & Montana. A large bipedal predator, 8-9m long, with small two-fingered forelimbs. Closely related to Albertosaurus, some consider it a synonym. Apex predator of floodplains, preying on ceratopsids and hadrosaurs.
