Midgard Serpent, offspring of Loki & Angrboða. Cast into the sea by Odin, it grew to encircle Midgard, biting its tail as an ouroboros. Releasing its tail signals Ragnarök. Thor's archenemy, Jörmungandr battles the thunder god during the end times, resulting in their mutual destruction.
