About Freyr
Vanir god of kingship, fertility, and prosperity in Norse myth. Twin of Freyja, son of Njörðr; associated with Sweden's royal line. Álfheimr, realm of elves, was his teething gift. He owned Gullinbursti, a shining boar, and Skíðblaðnir, a foldable ship. Foregoes his sword to win Gerðr, dooming him to die at Ragnarök.
