About Diomedes
Argive hero of the Trojan War, son of Tydeus. Diomedes, meaning "god-like cunning," excelled in battle, second only to Achilles. He wounded Aphrodite and Ares, stole the Palladium, and later founded cities in Italy. Post-mortem, he was worshipped as a god in Greece and Italy.
