Phoenician prince, founder of Thebes (Cadmeia). Son of Agenor & Telephassa of Tyre, brother to Europa. Sent to find Europa after Zeus abducted her. Credited with founding Illyrian cities like Bouthoe. A pre-Heracles hero, his lineage traces to Poseidon, with some claiming Egyptian roots.
