About Joe Haldeman
American sci-fi author Joe Haldeman (b. 1943) is famed for "The Forever War" (1974), drawing from his Vietnam War service. A Hugo and Nebula Award winner, he also penned "The Hemingway Hoax" and "Forever Peace." Haldeman, a Science Fiction Hall of Fame inductee, taught writing at MIT from 1983 to 2014, earning the SFWA Grand Master award for his career.
