South Asian open-air enclosure for Eid prayers, specifically Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. Used only on Eid mornings, it's a public space outside cities. The term is of Indian origin, sometimes used for any open space for Eid prayers. Kazi Nazrul Islam mentioned it in a poem.
