About Andrew Schally
Born in Poland, Andrew Schally (1926-2024) was a Polish-American endocrinologist. He won the 1977 Nobel Prize for discovering hypothalamic control of pituitary hormones with Roger Guillemin and Rosalyn Yalow. Schally later researched hormone applications for cancer and birth control.
