About Amargasaurus
Early Cretaceous sauropod (130-120 mya) from Argentina. The nearly complete skeleton, found in the La Amarga Formation, is of *A. cazaui*. Uniquely, it had two rows of tall spines along its neck and back, possibly supporting sails for display or defense. It was a mid-height herbivore in the Dicraeosauridae family.
