About Robert Bloch
American writer Robert Bloch (1917-1994) penned crime, horror, and fantasy, notably the novel *Psycho* (1959). A Weird Tales pulp contributor and Lovecraft protégé, he won Hugo, Stoker, and World Fantasy Awards. Bloch also served as president of the Mystery Writers of America, with his work adapted across media.
