Known for "Star Trek's" "City on the Edge of Forever," the "A Boy and His Dog" cycle, and "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream," his anthologies *Dangerous Visions* (1967) and *Again, Dangerous Visions* (1972) were also influential. He won multiple Hugo, Nebula, and Edgar awards.
