Shepseskaf
About Shepseskaf
Egyptian pharaoh, last of the 4th Dynasty, reigned c. 26th-25th century BC. Possibly Menkaure's son/brother. Notable for completing Menkaure's mortuary complex with mudbricks. His tomb, Mastabat al-Fir'aun in South Saqqara, is a unique mastaba, not a pyramid, marking a shift in royal burial practices.
